Hello Hello!

I have had such a good couple of days i can’t tell you! Some of my dreams came true and i can’t wait for you to hear all about it First of all i would like to start this blog about how i supported Mcfly in Wolverhampton on the 21st April! OH MY GODDDDDDDDD….I arrived in Birmingham and before i did my sound check we went to Kerrang Radio which has now been taken over by Q music.. I did a recorded interview and Q will be playing snippets of the interview every time  they play my single! I have taken loads of photos and i just tried uploading them onto my new Blog page, but the files are too big! Bummer, nothing is simple in life ….  I will try and get this fixed for future blogs…  But for now you can check them out of Myspace and Facebook!

So after my radio interview me and the gang (Gary, Dad, Justine) (<— VERY GLAMOROUS ENTOURAGE!) went and had some lunch and then made our way to Wolverhampton Civic Hall! It was crazy, there were some die hard fans who had been camping all night so that they could get a spot right at the front! I got my little mcfly badge (which i am keeping forever by the way) and went into the venue where Mcfly were sound checking! I NEARLY CRIED, IT WAS LIKE A PRIVATE SHOW!!!! I got so over excited by the fact that Mcfly were so close performing to me…(WELL PROB NOT TO ME, PROBABLY TO THE VERY IMPORTANT MEMBERS OF THEIR TEAM WHO DEAL WITH THE SOUND… BUT I AM GOING TO CHOOSE TO IGNORE THAT!) that i took a photo and nearly got removed from the Hall.. Oh dear, not a good start for the Roots team i admit, but what can a gal do hey?

So i went to my dressing room … I had to walk past Mcfly’s dressing room to get to mine! Did my sound Check and Danny watched the whole time ( NO PRESSURE) Got changed and before i did my slot i went and met the band in their dressing room…They were such nice Guys and wished me the best of luck and said that they would try and watch from the side

THE PERFORMING PART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oooohhh mmyyyy goddd. My biggest gig yet, 3000 people and i loved loved loved it My dream is to be able to put my hand in the air and make everyone else put their hand in the air And it happened! I was just buzzing, had so much adrenaline and excitement! The crowd reacted really well and after the show i got to meet loads of new fans. It was so nice to meet you all, thank all so much for all the amount of play’s on my Myspace player i have recieved! It was such an over-whelming performance and i just had the best time performing to you guys… After the show i got to meet Mcfly again and get my photo with them to show you all! Danny told me how much he loved Adrenaline Rush And Harry said that the crowd were really posotive to me! Also they all told me how they had their first show there 5 years ago… Fingers crossed that i might be able to say that too some time in the future!

Yesterday on the 22nd i did my show at the Cherry Jam… Everyone was saying oh you must find this so easy compared to the Mcfly gig.. But actually i found the Cherry Jam so much more nerve racking! Its much more intimate and you can see everyone’s faces… Plus some of my closest friends were standing right at the front! But that went really well and a thank you to everyone for coming! It was a fun night.. Thanks in4merz also for coming!

So i think that brings me to the end Just such a fantastic time and it just makes me realise how lucky i am that i get to do something that i am so passionate about for a living! Performing to that amount of people and having such a reaction from people who had never heard my songs before makes me remember so much about why i love what i do…
